Job queue Error-You do not have the following permissions on CodeUnit XYZ: Execute

Hi all,

I have created a job queue to schedule my codeunit XYZ to run at regular intervals. But it is throwing an error message--You do not have the following permissions on CodeUnit XYZ: Execute.

But while I run the same codeunit from the NAV development environment it is successfully getting executed. Hence, it is supported in my license.

Kindly let me know why is such an error coming up in my job queue.

Thanks.

    What are the user credentials that are used to run the job services? Is it the same as user account that runs Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server?

    Are you running the job queue manually by pressing the start job queue or it gets executed by NAS.

    Hi Tina,

    Check user who is assing to run this job. This user should have rights to run CodeUnit XYZ.

    @Alexander, yes it is the same user.

    @Manish,

    As I am doing testing, I am running the job queue manually.

    Hi Tatiana,

    The user who is running the job queue is a super user. hence has all permissions.

    Hi Tina,

    Please check one more possible reason -

    You work with a database which comes from outside of your windows domain

    OK, hope you have setup the user by which the dynamics service is running in Navision under user setup.
