There is the ability to use dynamic spreadsheets or pivot tables where you can automatically refresh the data from CRM.
I remember you needed the CRM Outlook plugin to use this though which is now deprecated.
Is there any additional software needed to download to utilize this?

In CRM you can export to a Dynamic pivot table right from a view. I'm wondering if anything else is needed to refresh the data from the spreadsheet?
I wanted to bump this up again. I'm just looking to see if any extra program needs to be downloaded in order for this to work? I can see the option to export dynamic spreadsheet or pivot table from views, but just want to know what is needed to be downloaded to refresh the data.
