Inventory Year-End Closing Issue

Hi All,

I am trying to do my year-end closing for inventory and I am getting a message that I can't complete the process while transactions are being edited.  No one is in Dynamics besides me.  I have run check links on Inventory, Sales, Purchasing and Financial.  When I run purchasing check links I am getting a similar message as above that I can't check links on this table group now; another user is editing purchase orders or receipts.  I am using Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing the issue and how to fix it?

    While no one is in GP go into SQL and run

    DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_LOCK

    DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_SESSION

    Thanks Richard.  

    When I run this query, do I do it on the specific company database or on a specific table?  If it is a specific table, can you please provide the specific table?

    This query specifies the tempdb database and the tables names. Just run it as it is from any database in SQL.

    I ran both and the first one returned zero results and the second one affected 7 rows.  I then went into GP and had the same issues.

    DELETE DYNAMICS..ACTIVITY while no one is in GP. Also, DELETE DYNAMICS..SY00800 and DELETE..DYNAMICS..SY00801
