Arrear Templates

Posted on by 1,045

We are changing insurance providers at the start of the year and creating new deductions to reflect the new provider.  I will be setting up new arrear templates in light of this change.  Is there a reason to keep the previous/old template IDs or should they be deleted?

    Hello WindyCityGP,

If you are not going to be using the old arrears templates, you certainly don’t have to keep them. With that being said, it’s not going to ‘hurt’ anything in GP if you do.

The arrears templates are stored in the APR_DIA40300 table. So, you could always make a backup of that table prior to when you delete them so if you ever want to add them back, you can insert those records from the backup table.

    I hope this helps!
