I created an action which sents email from user account. It works fine. However, I would like to send email from e-mail which is not assigned to any user but I can't create a new user because of license limitations.

I see it's possible to set account or contact as sender in "from" field:

I wonder how Dynamics knows credentials for email which is entered in account or contact entity.

Hi

You can only have a User or Queue in the from field. You cannot even have a Team in the from field. I am not sure how you managed to select Account in there but please see my screenshot

For a record to be in the From field, it will have to have a mailbox on exchange. An account or contact or any entity other than User / Queue wont have a mailbox on Exchange and its for this reason you wont be able to select a contact or account for From field.
