GP upgrade error

Hi All,

We just upgraded to GP2013 and I was not the one who performed the upgrade. I was given instructions to upgrade our staging server as I was in the middle of the process running GP Utilities when the process stopped responding because we ran out of dry space in the D: drive. I had to kill the process and moved some stuff around to gain some space. After creating some space i went back and ran GP utilities and I received the message below. Can anyone advice on how to continue the update or delete and begin again. Any help will be appreciated.

You have 2 options:

1) Select the company and click on the Next button.

2) Restore the Dynamics and Company DBs and start the upgrade from the beginning.

I would try the first option first.

Also run the below query on SQL server after restoring the databases(Before starting the GP utility).

DELETE DYNAMICS..ACTIVITY

DELETE DYNAMICS..SY00800

DELETE DYNAMICS..SY00801

DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_LOCK

DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_SESSION

Somakarpagamoorthy is correct in that normally we have to remove records from the duLCK table in the DYNAMICS / system database to remove the lock on the database, then launch Utilities again and continue with the upgrade of the databases.
