Microsoft Dynamics AX (Archived)

Lifecycle reporting R2 and we have R3

Lifecycle run every night and uploads to Lifeclycle site but when l look at the report it is telling me that it is R2 and we have upgraded our DAX to R3.  Possibly a newer version of LC out there?

    Hi,

    please try the following

    Click Start, and then click Microsoft Dynamics AX Lifecycle Services Diagnostic Service Discovery.

    At the bottom of the Window, click the Test permissions button Test permissions button for System diagnostics at the bottom of the page.

    On the Change destination folder page, enter the location where you want to store the logs that were collected by the System diagnostics, and then click Next.

    In the Environment Discovery window, enter a name for the environment, the fully-qualified name of the SQL Server instance and database, and then click Discover

    and the click Collect now. to see if manual collection give different result if does, then start new task.

    It says R3 in the tool but when I upload it to the LC site the report states that it is R2.  When I click test environment it gives an error saying that BC.net is unavailable?  It says it will try to connect to other servers in your configuration.  But it wouldn't allow me to discover the instances if I didn't have permission would it?  And I have my environment in the discovered instances.

    Also, the report on the LCS site has the correct date and time.
