Advanced filter: CreateDateTime = Today() doesn't work

Hi,

I'm setting up Cues for my role center, and in doing so I'm setting up some advanced filters. I'm in the Sales Order Details, and trying to filter out orders who are past ship date (late orders) and new orders created today.

For the first filter it works just fine to use: Sales order-Confirmed Ship Date = today()

But for filtering on orders created today, the following doesn't work: Sales order-Created date and time = today().

It wont return any orders. If I substitute today() for today's date (2011-03-23) it returns all orders created today, as expected.

Can anyone help me with this? Should be simple enough, but googling this isn't giving me any answers.

Ps. On a similar subject: What is the syntax (in the advance filter) for saying for example yesterday? when I enter "today()-1" for the first query above I get the same result as if I enter just today(). Ds.

Use (day()), (day(-1)) and so on. Don't forget the parentheses.

This functionality does not exist in AX 4.0. Support adding these types of filter on the query range was added in AX 2009.
