Hi, supposedly the Reason Code will display 'Discount' as default value when users changed the Unit Price in sales line as screenshot above.

But I got an issue where there is ONE user id does not get the default value  as above and this issue only happened to that user id. I tried to use another user id where they have the same roles and it works fine as expected.

FYI, I used coc to set the default value as discount. but I don't think it because of the code because other users don't have any issue.

Does anyone know or got any clue why this issue happened? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Nadiah,

Can you try to temporarily assign the system administrator role and check if it then works for this user? If so, did the other user where it actually works had the system administrator role before?

I have recently seen a scenario where also for one user the role worked fine, but another user not. It was missing some table permissions, but due to some caching the role worked for the person who had system administrator rights before.

    Hi Andre, Thanks for reply.

Actually, I already clear all user data caches and tried that method you mentioned above, but the issue still happened. I feel so weird.

    Hi Nadiah,

Can you confirm if you tested it with the system administrator role for this user to check if it is security related or not?

    Hi Nadiah Sukerman,

    Please check what Andre suggested.

Also please check as per the following (as you have mentioned that you already reset usage data for all users!).

-- Are the same user roles (with which other users do not have this issue) assigned to that particular user who is facing this issue?

-- Please delete the user id itself and re-import it.

-- Assign same roles to the newly created user id.

    Regards,
    Sourav

    Hi,

I just remember that I haven't update the root cause and solution on this issue. Actually that user personalize that field so that's why it's not showing.

So this issue resolved. Thanks for your help and kind!

    Hi,

In most such cases reset uses data would fix it. As you mentioned it's still there for your case. If this was due to user personalized form, that should be resolved as soon as you do uses data reset.

Can you give it a try to open this in another browser or maybe on another machine just to isolate the issue?
