Can you download vendor attachments in bulk from GP 2016?

If we were to move to Business Central, is there a way to download vendor attachments (on the Purchasing / Vendor card) in bulk so that we can upload them to the vendor cards in BC?

Thank you for your post.

The way that GP stores and links the attachments to the vendor cards there is not an out of the box solution to achieve this.

I'd published the following blog some time back that goes into details on how the attachment tables connect.

I think the biggest hang up would be how to get the binary blob data converted back to image for an upload process.

I would think that you are not the only person to have this situation and would love to see if anyone else in the community has any suggestions on this.

Nicole - thank you for this information (and you are correct about the hang up would be in the conversion process back to an image). Perhaps someone else has solved for it and may reply later.
