Hello guys,
When we view Permission, there is one column with named "License", may I know what is this used for ? and what "condition" that makes the value as it is stated ?
In regards of what is the column means, should we fill in the value when create / insert new permission.
Thanks
Hi Lars, This is related to users Licensing. Alex Meyer has explained this topic which you can find it here.

Hi,
Thank you.
Based on the blog, it was mentioned , current D365FO license types available are :
-Operations (will be listed as Enterprise in AOT)
-Activity
-Team Members (will be listed as Universal in AOT)
May I know where exactly does Microsoft stated that ?
And for custom privilege, is it sufficient (not over-provision) if we put as TeamMember ?
There is another interesting article also from Alex (he put on the blog as well), which is on this link: alexdmeyer.com/.../
Thanks again.
Hi Lars,
For cloud licenses, there is no Operations/Enterprise anymore. Then it would be one of the new license SKUs like Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources and some others.
There is a list with license per privilege in the background aka privilege-base licensing. This makes the translation from Enterprise to Finance for the menu items in this privilege. If you create a custom privilege containing the same privileges (containing the enterprise level), then you still would need a full license, not a team member.
