Hi All,
I have a couple of questions concerning the customer agent/pools in D365
1. Can i delete agent or pool after the setup? I am having issue withe deleting the agent
2. Can i run my customer aging report as customer pools/customer agents?
3. Can I manual added a new collector that is not in the add? we have new works and there name is not on the add names?
Good Morning Sylvia,
For No 1: I can create and delete a pool without problems. Is it possible that you have a customized role assigned that does not allow you deleting pools?
For No 2: Please setup a pool with the pool type aging snapshot. Your previous screenprints show all 'collections' in the pool type field
For No 3: Also here there might be a setup / role issue. Can you check that the persons you want to add are correctly setup as employees, that they have access to the company and that they have the correct role assigned?
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Sylvia,
Some additional insights from my side:
1) Have you verified if the pool "Bruce" has been assigned to an existing collection agent? Your third screenshot clearly mentions that it has been assigned to a collection agent. On the first screenshot it is not linked to Joseph, but probably one of the other three?
2) See the reply from Ludwig
3) Have you setup the person as active worker with an employment in the legal entity?
I was able to correct the set up but I could not run the Aging snapshot for the individual collector. It would not let me drop down to select aging snapshot in the customer pool.
Can you share a screenshot where you can show what exactly is not editable or selectable?
ageing period definition is supposed to be selected
see here
In the aged balances site you cannot change the aging period definition.
There is, however a kind of trick/workaround.
Open the customer credit and collection workspace.
In the graph that pops up select a Aging period definition (make sure that the calculation has been run for that).
Then double click on an element that you see in the pie chart and the aged balance site opens with that aging period definition for the selection made.
Hope this helps.
