Hello everyone,

I would like to know if there is a way to grant access to view and edit record information (as shown in the picture below) to employees without providing them with full admin rights. Specifically, I want employees to have the ability to rename products. Is there a way to achieve this?

Security Configuration - Granting Limited Access to Edit Product Names Using (Record Info)

Hi John,

Yes, this is possible. The permissions are managed in the privilege Rename unique record keys. The privilege is in the standard application part of the duty Maintain system settings and this is linked to the Information technology manager role. The duty provides too many permissions. You can create a new duty, reference the privilege and then link if you your security role where a person needs to perform the renaming task.
