Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Archived)

printing issue

i am facing an unique issue,when the user click print in any reports, the document is not printing, but if the user print from other applications like excel, word or pdf the documents are printing.


i have tried to restart the printer spooler and print one user able to print and after a while the issue starts again.

any workaround solution or anyone have faced the issue before ?

    Dear wilsonjoe25 ,

    Refer the below screen shot assign these on your RDC setup 

    Put the tick on "Printers"

    Click More on "Local Devices and resources 

    Put Tick on : Ports , Drivers , Other supported plug and play

    Does it through any errors ? Please check event viewer.

    yes it happens for every user. nav 2013 r2 , using remote client.

    i am running on nav 2013 and from pdf yes it is able to print, direct printing couldn't be printing.

    Have you tried to print the report in PDF from Navision ? Which version of Navision you are using ?

    are your running system(client) through remote desktop connection ?

    Are you on a terminal server while printing reports ? Does it happens for every user ? What is your build ? There are few printing issues while using redirected printer and they are fixed in cumulative updates.
