Associate contact with multiple customers

Hello,

I have a group of 30 customers, all of whom are represented by 1-2 contacts.  I would hate to create these same contacts 30 times.  Is there any way to associate 1 contact with multiple customers?  I have read several threads discussing the issue, and the answer is basically no.  Are there at least plans to introduce this?  Surely we're not the only ones having issues with this.

Thank you

What you could do is create a parent customer call it A, and associate it with all other customers by adding a new field called Master Customer no. or Parent Customer No.  The contacts will be assigned to A.
