Issues Linking Components in BOM/Assembly Entry in GP2016

Hello,

I am using the Assembly Entry transaction to link serialized components to a serialized parent product.

My issue occurs once I have the BOM released, and the master serial number assigned, and I go to link the serialized components;

Let's say the assembly calls for two serialized components. The list of serials to choose from to assign is held at two (the lowest numerical values), no matter how many I have in stock. What I would like is to get a list of available component serials, and choose two.

Is this possible?

I have in the past had to make dummy assemblies and save them in a batch in order to dig into the sequence of serialized components, but that will not work in this instance, as far as I can figure...

Any help would be appreciated.
