Is there any plan for this feature to improve? They came out with a Sync Appointment, but it seems buggy in different areas.
It seems users have to manually set every appointment to Tracking in outlook or it never shows up. Is there a way to always have it track? There no way sales reps are going to remember to manually track appointments to Dynamics. This seems like a half-finished idea.
You don't need to flag appointment by appointment to synchronize it with the schedule board. But, please check the documentation below.
Also, make sure your salespeople are a resource in Field Service.

Yeah, I don't think this link still answers what I need. I'm not seeing anything in the article that absolutely confirms how the Outlook sync back to Field Service can be automated. The article simply implies that users should create appointments inside of Dynamics. And while I'll agree and this works great for business appointments, things like Private events, dentist appointments, pto, people are naturally used to adding those items on their Outlook not in a CRM.
