Purchase Order, Cancel Button Permissions

Hi,

I need to set permissions on Cancel button under Maintain menu of Purchase Order. Right now any user of Account Payable can Cancel the Purchase Order. But I need to control it by assigning some role to user. The user who have role can Cancel a PO otherwise the Cancel button should be disabled.

Please help how I can solve the issue, here is the screen shot of form. I have used privileges for report menu, in that way it is not working.

You need to set permission on the button control. Please see the blog below

Hi Arunraj,

It worked for me and the menu get invisible. I have create privilege and assign this entry menu to that privilege and then assign that privilege to user. But that menu is not visible for the user. Any suggestion?

What is the value of needed permission on the form control, and what is the value of Grant on the entry point in privilege?

Sorry, what do you mean by the value of permission? I need that "Cancel" menu should work for the users who have the privilege.
