Default Location of an Item

Hi All,

When i create a line in a sales order ,the default location is automatically get populated.

For example if i take an item 548assy,its in 5 different location .But always one particular location is created in a sales line.

I want to know where we are making default location for each item.

How to find a default location of an item.

    Hi,

    In the released products form / manage inventory tab there are default order settings.

    I would expect that things are setup there.

    Hi John,

    Ludwig is correct. If you go to Product Information Management > Products > Released Products > Select a Product and then go to Manage Inventory > Order Settings > Default Order Settings, you can find all of the setup there.
