Hi all,

My client has a web portal(Website) on which their project is currently working and if any record is Create/Update/Delete or any action is performed then all the changes should be apply in the Dynamics 365.

So for this, I have to integrate the same with Dynamics 365.

Please suggest me how could i do the same like using some tools or using web-api?

And one more thing is that where the code will be implemented?

    Hi Shakti,

You need to communicate through API. Make sure  both CRM and website  end you should maintain  similar data model so that data mapping will be easier for you.

From website you can use OOB Dynamics CRM Web API to post data into Dynamics 365.

Now to communicate external website  API from dynamics CRM use  CRM plugin. You need to keep in mind that the web API which exposed to communicate with website  should be https and need to be run on internet as your plugin will run in dynamics CRM server.

There is no such tool available as you are communicating through server side code . Create WCF service with both soap/rest endpoint and expose on internet , consume the WCF service from plugin to push the data from CRM to website.

    Hi Shakti

If you are writing your custom code, calling CRM WebAPI then code will be writting inside your custom WebPortal.

Alternatively you can use any middleware like LogicApps or simple MS Flow, in this case code/configurations will be done at this middle ware layer.

    Hi,

Check out this link, it talks about creating a custom connector for ASP.Net application in LogicApps space.
