Project accounting - Item journal

Hi,

When I enter a project item journal, I pickup the project and the category, then the item number which is a required field , the list shows me only one item as available to choose. By checking the validation by project or category, I don't see an item number validation. Any ideas, for any setup option?

    Hello Sam,

    One possibility is making use of the validation options project-category. All your items are linked to a project category and by setting up this validation you should be able to exclude items that are associated with a specific category.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Since I see only one item showing # 0750, in in project item journal, for project 00002, which is allocated to project category C01001 in the released product  form, I tried in the released product  form to pickup another product 0760, and assign the same project category C01001 .

    I was expecting to be able in the project item journal to pickup item# 0760.

    Any thoughts?

    Are you seeing more items on other projects?

    Is the additional item you are trying to select is inventoried or not?

    Only items that flagged as "inventoried" on the Item Model Group are available to be put on Item Journal.
