Dynamics 365 Sales - Email from Contact

Hello,

Could you please help me with the following situation:

I try to send an email from here:

When I click on the button, Outlook is being opened and the wrong sender’s email is being chosen:

But I want to write emails from the internal Dynamics email client:

How should I change the settings to have the possibility to create emails inside the Dynamics app?

    Hi YurasPol,

    Usually, when we want to send an email to a contact, we create an email activity in timeline:

    Of course, we can also use ribbon workbench to modify the button functions, which would be too complicated.

    And the original function of this button is also useful.

    Hello,

    That's oob behavior that can't be changed. The only thing I can think of is to create a PCF control that will open the dynamics email record instead of opening the email client.
