In AX Form Reference group control is missing field in it.

Hi,

As we are migrating the code from AX 2012 to D365, some of the reference group controls in AX forms are missing the fields under reference group control. This reference group is not having the datasource in properties but it has the EDT. For this particular EDT there is no table relations. In AX 2012 reference group has the fields in it. What we are missing in D365, any suggestions please. We verified replacement field group also.

In my case there is no table relation. We have an EDT which has table as reference that's it.

Case: Form without data sources is migrated from AX 2012 to D365, In this form control it has reference group which has the EDT in properties, replacement field group :: Autolookup, this autolookup field group has the required string name in referenced table. verified all still from reference control is not coming.

Hi Sreepa,

The following blog mentions one way is to change the ReplacementFieldGroup property on the reference group control. Another way is to modify the AutoIdentification field group on the parent tables. This field group populates automatically based on the replacement key. You can try it to see if it helps.
