Work templates have already been created for Purchase order as:
Pick
Print
Put
The work class ID assigned to each of the above is "Puchase"
After creating a Purchase order and confirming it, work details are not showing.

It provides you an idea. you don't have to create a work after confirming. Create PO /confirm and that's it from PO standpoint. One of the flow is that you can receive purchase order by line item.
Here is an example of "setting up mobile device menu" that help you receive the purchase order .

Vickram, I may be misunderstanding your question, but work isn't created after confirming the purchase order. When you do the receipt step work is created for put away. The link below is for a video I did on PO receiving. See if that helps you out.
