I doubt workflow causes your AX to slowdown.

I expect you have separate servers for different AX components, ex. AOS, DB, EP/workflow on separate servers. To begin with monitor resource usage on server(s).

Make sure your database is running with optimal configuration and regular maintenance plans are running such as database reindex.

    Hi Mayur,

It is may be because of AOS server configuration.

I suggest you to review memory and CPU assigned to AOS server

Please verify and update us with your findings

    hi ,,,,,

when I made those workflows inactive  am getting better performance of my ax than earlier .

we have also installed "EP " for our server ...... so i am little bit confused about it that weather really workflow had made it slow or Installation of EP is behind it to rupture my system performance.

There can be any number of reasons and André's information request will help.  My experience with performance issues within AX generally start with SQL server.  Do you do maintenance on the SQL?  There are 40+ tables involved in workflow and when indexes aren't maintained they can cause a lot of performance issues.  If you disable that workflow does performance go back to normal?

    Hi Mayur,

It is possible that they did some monitoring. Please update what they used and found in detail. AX is using Windows Workflow Foundation and it also updates some tables in AX.

Can you share some of the events?
