Hi All
We're using latest F&O and just had a new site go live. Our implementation team imported all the on-hand inventory from the old system before costing versions were created so all the on-hand has zero cost.
Is there a way to update the costs of the on-hand based on the current cost version records?
Thanks
Mark
Hi Mark,
Are you using Standard cost as costing method? If so, there will be a revaluation posted when you activate new prices.
You can refer to this post, it may be helpful to you:

No We use weighted average
Not helpful. All that tells you how to create a costing version record
Note that costing versions and weighted average are not working together. As you mentioned cost versions, we assumed you most likely were using standard cost. You can update the cost with help of the inventory closing and adjustment options. First perform a closing; then you can adjust the cost based on on-hand or the transactions.
