Help with grouping segments

I've noticed that whenever I create a segment with all the criteria in the same group (e.g. if all the criteria is in Group 1) I do not have any issues the segment seems to get into the state /Ready to use/ straight away.

However, whenever I add either a subgroup (e.g. Group 1.1) or another group (Group 2)  to the same segment, the segment is never created, after clicking on save and /ready to use/ the state says /getting ready/ and never changes. I also see the message /One or more tables used in this segment has been changed recently and is in process of re-syncing. Please try again later/

Also in case it is relevant, I am using a trial version of Customer Insights Journeys, Can anyone let me know what the issue is here or what I need to do to get the segment working and ready to use?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi Ladga,

How long has the system been in 'Getting Ready' state? Often depending on how complex your query is and the amount of Contacts are in your system, the Segment can take a while to calculate the members, so it can pay to just keep it running in the background and check back later. However, seeing as you have mentioned you are in a trial environment it doesn't sound like that would be the issue here.

Could you please provide a screenshot of your segment query?

    Thanks,
    Fiona

    Hi,

In my testing, it runs well when adding subgroups. However, when I add a new group to a segment, I encounter the same issue as you.

According to the official documentation, adding a new group to a segment is a preview feature. The preview feature is not complete, so it is recommended to design segments within the same group.

I am getting the same error message.  I'm creating an extremely simple segment in my test scenario.

    1. When I do an exact date, it works just fine.

    2. But when I use a date range, I get the error message.

Can someone assist please?  I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong, is this a system error/limitation?

    Thank you.
