We have been trying to add dynamic content in email templates, but we are getting some unexpected errors.

Let's imagine that we have a Case, every case has a Site. I'll need to get more information from the site, like the contact number, the id, address or the post code. However, I think that email templates does not support getting information between relationships. Am I wrong?

Is there any other way to add this tipe of information in the email templates?

Hi,

Yes, it can only support the display of Lookup fields in an N:1 relationship at most, and cannot fetch certain fields of another entity in that relationship.

The syntax for the lookup field is {!EntityLogicalName:FieldLogicalName/@name;}.

There is no way to achieve it currently.

You can post your proposal in Ideas forum.

With requirements like this increasing, the issue may well be released in the future.
