Send contacts on varying paths within a journey based on different form submission values (from the same form)

Hello

I was hoping someone could shed some light on how to send contacts off on different paths of a journey depending on the answer they provided on a form?

The form would have a drop down menu so depending on whether they submit:
Response 1, Response 2 or Response 3

The value submitted via the form could send them down a different if/then path contain different emails within a journey.

Any idea how this could be achieved as I can't see anywhere to add what the response value is, only that the contact has submitted a form - which doesn't seem right to me so I must be missing something.

Only thing I can think of is having different segments on separate swimlanes within the same journey and that is not neat, tidy or efficient.  Surely different paths can be used on the logic of "all contacts who responded on form x with a value of y".

Thank you

    Hi,

It cannot be achieved with only one swimlane unfortunately.

It is recommended to map the form field with the field in Contact entity.

And then create a new segment to filter out the contacts who submitted the form and the value of the field equals to a certain value(e.g. Response 1).

Set the segment as the audience of another swimlane or another customer journey.
