Order confirmation of purchase order

Hi!
 
Is there a way to know that a purchase order has been confirmed by the vendor? Like a change in status?

    There is no specific status for this.
    What I normally recommend is to entre the vendors order no. as a indication that the purchase order is confirmed.
    You can also enter the promised delivered data as another indication that the order is confirmed. 
     
    If you want to do it using status you can start by entering a "Purchase quote" and then change that to a purchase order when the purchase order is confirmed.
    A lot if companies do it that way because then they have a process from quote to order.

    Hi, Is it possible to simply use the Status field to manage?
    Released = Vendor Confirmed
