Hi,
I'm facing an issue with budget warning we have active budget control for 2019 and there is no budget created for the current period of 2020 ,The budget control active for PO and PR by lines and its active only for P&L ledger dimension.
My question is why the budget check warning coming for the current period PR's (2020) since the budget not activated for current period
anybody can help me on this ?
Hi M Silmi,
In the budget control configuration form you have the option to chose how the budgets that are compared against the actuals are calculated.
If you don't have a budget for 2020 but try to record a PR for 2020 then I would expect that you see a warning or error message.

Yes you are correct i'm getting below error while creating PR
Could you please suggest a solution to manage this until creation of 2020 budget
Are you the one who has the ability and user rights to setup budgets in AX?
If you have then enter and update the budget data for 2020 in the budgeting module.
Once that is done you should not see the error message any longer.

still budget not yet approved by management and it will take some days to complete the process i'm looking for temporary solution until approval of budget .
Are there anyways to transfer the PR to PO with this error ?
A temporary solution would be to switch off the budget control.
