RE: Not able to connect Excel file to create the data source in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.

    Arun,

I have experienced this issue for SharePoint in the past when connecting to Power Query for both Customer Insights and Power BI.  I have not tried to connect to a file in OneDrive from Power Query before but I would think the solution is very similar.

    • I issue has to do with the "File Path or URL" that you are using to reference the file in SharePoint.
    • If you simply use the Copy Link button in SharePoint then you will experience this issue and your copied file link URL will look something like the one below.

    • To fix the issue and get the correct file URL you need to select the correct file in SharePoint, select the vertical dots next to the file as shown below and then chose Details at the very bottom of the menu.

    • This will open the Files Details screen on the right side of the SharePoint window, scroll to the bottom and select the Copy Direct Link button next to Path.

    • This will copy the correct URL file path to use and you should not get the same issue when you use it in the Power Query connection wizard.  Your copied URL should look similar to this.
