Hello Ernie,
Thank you for writing to us.
According to the latest information, our On-premises licensing has changed from a single professional CAL that gave access to all features to two CALs, one for Sales and one for Service.
Licensing Programs are channels where you can buy Dynamics 365. You can license Dynamics 365 through Microsoft Volume Licensing, Cloud Solution Provider program (CSP), and/or Web Direct programs. In Volume Licensing, Dynamics 365 is available through: • Enterprise Agreement (EA) • Enterprise Agreement Subscription (EAS) • Server and Cloud Enrollment (SCE) • Enrollment for Education Solutions (under the Campus and School Agreement) (EES).
I would request you to please go through the PDF as it contains all the details and in depth information https://mbs.microsoft.com/Files/public/365/Dynamics365LicensingGuide.pdf .
Please let me know if you have any other questions around the above.. Please mark my answer as verified if you found it helpful.
