Hi,
I want to capture my bank statements in business Central using the payment reconciliation journal. My consultant wrote an import format for my bank statements.
I don’t want the system to apply automatically and rather use the map text to account functionality to only allocate the items to the various accounts but not apply.
I have setup regular entries for like extract below for example, one is a customer payment and the other is bank charges:
After importing the bank statement non of the mapping was however done? Why is that? When I then went into the map-text-to-account window and closed the entries was automatically applied but not accurately. It for instance applied the bank charge to a previous payment for bank charges which is not right and the account it booked to is now the bank account all of a sudden? See below, The commitment fee on the other hand is correctly allocate.
