Issue has been resolved. The were able to change the Minimum and Maximum length to 9.

The in house ax support person aware of the issue but he is out of the office for a few days. As you suggested we probably will need to hire a developer to look into the issue. But that probably won't happen until Monday or Tuesday. For the mean time checking to see if I can get any help on the issue and researching until they get back. Here is a screen shot of the bar code setup but I'm not sure if it should be there. I wanted to see if I deleted the code128 and see if it would make a different but I get the message below.

Thanks Chris. In that case, best would be to involve developer and try to replicate the issue and then get it fixed. Have dev look at report. Something may have changed that would result in issues like this.

They have been printing the picking with the the PL-0... barcode with 9 characters it stopped working yesterday. But it was working in the morning. I am not aware of any recent changes to AX.

Hi Chris,
This is data related issues as we see from screenshot. However we don't know how and where this barcode is supplied / printed so a guess below based on information provided.
The "PL-0..." number seems to be picking list, so it looks like the picking list barcode is printed on the report. Can you check what was the previous picking list that you were able to successfully generate. The report barcode format needs the PL number to be 13 characters.
Something has changed that may have lead it to stop working, possible issues are :
1. Either the barcode was recently added/modified
2. The number sequence with which the report was working is not same as what you have above. Are you trying to either print an old picking list or a new one.
Try printing any other picking list and see what the PL number there and if report print data successfully. If this is your first time printing barcode after addition, your best guess is to get the report updated or get the picking list modified (this route may result in cancelling open picks etc. depending upon where you are getting this error).
