My teammate and I are not using logic apps anymore.
We need to find out how to call D365FO REST API straight.
Please advice.
Which of the APIs do you mean? Custom services? OData services? Data management APIs? Or something else?
Are you saying that you aren't familiar with HTTP calls at all, or do you have any particular problem when trying to call F&O?
Its OData services.
You didn't mention any particular problem, therefore it seems that you're looking for an introduction and failed to find it on internet.

And you can find sample code on GitGub.
We found out that postman app can create API. It can also directly call D365FO REST API.
