Hi Community experts,
I have created a custom workspace (A tile, A form, A menu item) following this tutorial Creating a Workspace Programmatically in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations - Alex Meyer (alexdmeyer.com)
but when I try to add a form/list/grid in it through this "Add to workspace" button, my created workspace is not listed there.
I am not sure what I am missing in this, maybe some property ?
Looking forward to helpful response.
Regards,
Ali Nawaz
Hi Andre,
Yes I extended the NavPaneMenu and the workspace is visible in the default dashboard.
I have somehow managed the workspace name to appear in the lookup of "Add to workspace" button but the issue now is, the lookup is only allowing to add the Tile and Link, when I choose List the configure button gets disabled.
HI Ali,
Did you also extend the NavPaneMenu to add your new workspace on the default dashboard? Once your workspace is visible on the default dashboard it might be visible in the lookup.
