Hello community,
We have created two custom entities in our crm environment, contract and contract period, and since they represent sensitive data, we need to be vigilant regarding security roles.
We have two categories who use these records, sales managers and their subordinate sales representatives. Managers must be able to see and manage their sales representative's contracts.
Knowing that the relationship between these two categories is established using the "manager" field of the user entity, we have come up with the following solution :
- two security roles for each category
- enable managerial hierarchy and exclude all entities except these two
The solution meets the requirement, but it is complicated to exclude all except two entities and to do the same in every environment.
Is there a better solution to achieve this? If not, how can we transfer the configuration across environments?
