Data mangement recurring API error

Hi All,

We are using Data mangement framework to import data from legacy system using API

We observed below errors-

1. Package execution failed please check event log in DMF service box- (How to check DMF service box event.have checked from SQL service log error but didnt find anything there)
2.File showing "In progress" status in Manage messages screen

3.Legacy system able to send the file successfully but D365 unable to get any record in "Manage messages" screen.

    If its a dev box you can go to event viewer >Application and services logs >Microsoft > Dynamics  and look for DIXF as well other logs.

    Hi Shri,

    As Sukrut said, you can go to event viewer >Application and services logs >Microsoft > Dynamics  and look for DIXF as well other logs if you are on dev box or sandbox environment.

    Please you can also submit an support to us if you need have a further troubleshooting on this issue.

    Hello all,

    Here are the log from Dev VM

    From application I am getting below error only.No any specific error description is given.

    Package execution failed please check event log in DMF service box-

     Let me know if you need more details.Is there any way to figure out exactly which column ha error?Or is there any other issue?

    Hi All,

    I received below log from DIXFSSISRunTime:-

    SSISexceptionMessage Inner exception for SSIS execution<?xml version="1.0"?><Errors><Error><ErrorCode>-1071636335</ErrorCode><SubComponent>Flat File Source [1]</SubComponent><Description>An error occurred while skipping data rows. </Description></Error><Error><ErrorCode>-1073450952</ErrorCode><SubComponent>SSIS.Pipeline</SubComponent><Description>SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on Flat File Source returned error code 0xC0202091. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure. </Description></Error></Errors>

    What does it mean?

    Hi Shri,

    You can search on the internet for the keywords "SSIS 0xC0202091". There are some similar issues reported with various possible root causes.

    Also try to debug the process. After request lands in the queue and batch starts processing it ,DMFIntegrationBridge class is called , you can put a breakpoint in import method and see what error you are getting.

    Thanks Andre,Sukrut!

    Error was due to file structure, it was not correct so i remapped it and regnerated the mapping and error gone.

    As I mentioned there is one more issue where data project status is "In process" I try to send same file using postman , it get processed.

    But when it comes through API-BLOB storage only this project shows status as "In progress"

    Any clue how I can check this.It shows same status even after service restart.

    We have also a lot of issues related to statuses in recurring jobs. Statuses are not always correct even if everything from processed fine.

    What PU version you are using?

    In the latest versions, there are some improvements are done towards status consistency

    PU30 : 340747 Entity import stays executing status if language is Japenese.

    PU29: 318251 Recurring import job with Package shows 'Executing' status forever if target process fails.
