Hello - for D365 Marketing our Company was on version V 1.35.50580 and recently installed these updates:V 1.35.10041.2038 & V 1.35.10057.1054. Now when we go to create a new Marketing Email we no longer receive the prompt to select an email template. I can confirm that Email Templates still appear under the Marketing Templates area, I'm just no longer receiving a prompt to select one of these templates when creating a new email. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or can anyone provide a troubleshooting step of how we could get these templates to appear when creating a new email?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Mary,

I have also updated my version to 1.35.10057.1054, and my region is North America but didn't encounter the issue.

    Please do general troubleshooting steps:

    1. Clear cache and sign in crm again.

    2. Change another browser.

Because the prompt is completely an OOB feature without option to do customization,

so if above steps not work, you could open a support ticket for help:

    Hello,

    I have the same problem since the updates :V 1.35.10041.2038 & V 1.35.10057.1054.

    I think it's a security role problem :

    - If the user is System Administrator, the problem does'nt occur

    - If the user is not System Administrator the problem occurs

    Regards,

    Alexis

    I had the same problem.

I solved by adding the entity Marketing Data Import in a security role, as you can see in the image.

You find it in the Custom Entities tab.

Hi Enrico - this seemed to do the trick! We ended up assigning this with the lowest level of permissions (i.e. the user level) but it appears that I can now select from the template options when creating a new email. Appreciate your help!
