i have question about install ax2009
my question is :
can i install ax2009 in the same computer with activedirctory?

I believe you can but it is definitely not recommended. Plus it will run awfully slow.
Yes, it is possible, I use it sometimes on a virtual machine.

i don't know where i will install AX .

We have AX running on a virtual private machine under Hyper-V emulating a 64bit SBS2008 with Exchange and 4 GB of memory. In my dev I have a VMWare running a W2K3 with all installed under 32 bit. The W2K3 is much faster than the more fancy hardware of the SBS2008. It works, but making efficient code is not what they do at MS. It is slow although we are only with 2 users.

For our demo or test machine I installed bas AX 2009 which inclued >>> application, client, sql server, AOS, .net connector and AX 2009 for retail in one machine. this is only for a demo machine..
