Resource requirement does not inherit scheduling method (RSO)

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I have a Problem with resource requirements. When creating a work order a resource requirement is generated automatically. The RSO then uses this resource requirement to plan according to it's scheduling method.

The problem is that my resource requirements do not inherit (2) the scheduling method defined for the entity msdyn_workorder (1).

I am glad for anyone who can shed some light on this mistery.

Regards

Jeki

    Thank you for the responses.

Apparently there was another problem. The duration was not calculated correctly, which resulted in a duration of 0. I did not realize this because on the test system this worked fine.

If the duration is set the RSO plans correctly.

Hi Jeki, I had this issue a while ago and had filed a ticket, but when I tried to re-produce the issue today, everything worked as expected. What URS and RSO version are you on? Feel free to drop me a message at alheinz(at)microsoft.com and I'll try to help.
