Hello, Community, I have made a plugin to send a mail on the creation of a contact. Do I need to create a power automation flow to send mail from Outlook? I would appreciate it if you could let me know how we can accomplish this if it is required.

Hi,

Yes you can send email from power automate. It is easy and you can trace easily if you get any error.

Also, we have both options available in power automate to send email from outlook or detaverse.

My mailbox has been configured, but when I create a record, the mail does not send to Outlook, even though I have written the plugin code to make it happen. Is there a solution to this problem?

Try with power automate. You need to select an action send email from outlook.
