Leads to Opportunity business process flow / existing contact / existing account

Hi there,

I have noticed that in the actual online version of Dynamics 365, the BPF Sales Leads to Opportunity standard BPF is using fields named "Existing Contact ?" and "Existing Account ?"  and those fields are lookup fields.

In fact, those fields are related to Parentcontactid and parentaccountid on leads entity (I guess I should say table now).

When selecting an existing contact, it populates the leads fields automatically for contact information.

When selecting an existing account, it does nothing except populate the name of the account within the lead , is this normal ?

Those fields appears recently ? Any confirmation ?

Those fields seem to be protected and are visible only in the leads entity on BPF editor but nowhere else, including entity/table fields customization area ! How to configure title for those fields ?

On which mechanism is based the auto-populate feature ? (and actually, why it does not work the same for the the account?)

How to reproduce such a mechanism in an custom entity ?
