How to Open Microsoft Inspection Forms in Resco Mobile CRM App

Hi Team.

I have created Inspections in Field Service and appended the same to Service Task Type Entity records, in turn these service task type records will be added to the work order via Work Order Service task type records. Everything is working fine but the problem here is these inspection form are not opening when i try to access the same via resco mobile crm app.

I have enabled the Inspection entity and added as a tab to the service task type entity form in xamarin app, however when i try to open the the inspection records via Resco Mobile CRM App,  inspections are not opening and displaying as just records.

Microsoft clearly said that inspections will work in xamarin app also, is there any other configurations i need to do apart from what i did?

Kindly help in resolving this issue.

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

When you say "xamarin app", do you refer to Resco's app or Field Service Mobile (only the latter is supported). Also have you tried the standard Woodford project from aka.ms/fsmobile-project ?

    Hi Alexander,

I am referring to Resco's app, yes i have installed the same.

    Thanks.

Unless you have a separate Resco contract, use the FS App with the standard Woodford project to see if Inspections are properly displayed as explained here: docs.microsoft.com/.../inspections

If that's not working, I would file a support ticket. If it does, then likely one of your config broke the existing functionality (forms? sync filters? ...)

    Hi Alexander,

I have downloaded and imported the new field service app into the woodford project. In the newly imported  project template, inspections are working fine. But the problem here is i have the existing field service mobile project with some unique functionalities implemented. How can i update the existing mobile project , so that it should align with new FS Mobile project.

    Thanks.

Okay, so at least we know that Vanilla works. Wrt/ migrating your modifications to work on top of the standard mobile template, have a look at docs.microsoft.com/.../mobile-upgrade-project
