R2 POS Transaction comment does not print on the receipt

Despite all the documentation I've found, when we add a transaction comment in POS (Edit Transaction / Transaction Comment), the comment does not print on the receipt.  (POS is on version R2 CU9).  However, the comment is stored in the POS database and syncs to AX.

Does anyone else have this problem?  Were you able to fix it?

(I would attach an example, but the image attach function is failing on this forum.)

    I apologize to the community for asking such a question without prior due diligence.

    I recently discovered that the problem was that our POS button layout has "Transaction Comment", while the receipt has "Invoice Comment."  Furthermore, the "Invoice Comment" does not sync to AX.

    I will change the receipt layout to print the Transaction Comment instead of the pointless "Invoice Comment", since the Transaction Comment will already sync to AX and is being printed on customer billing statements.

    hi daniel,

    In that case ,you need to debug a method in services \printing project.  open formModulation.cs, just find out transaction comment and put you logic there ,if required.  please refer a screenshot below

    Thanks for replying.

    In this case, the comment field I'm referring to is in the receipt header section, so it can't be a line comment.

    Hi Daniel,

    may be design is having line comment instead of transaction comment.. If it is not printing, we need to debug the printing project under service in retail SDK. All mapping of fields will be there in form modulation method in printing.cs,we can customized according to our need.

    For Customization,dig there into \Documents\Retail SDK\POS-Plug in\Services\Printing..under printing project , go to Printing.cs and search for FormModulation method.. then search for comment field, we can write our logic there according to buisness need
