How to count Concurrent User

Hi Experts,

I have some problems about Concurrent User which need you help me.

I have customer license with 3 Full Concurrent User.

I also have a app from mobile which create SO on NAV using OData Web Service.

My Case: There are 3 user ID (A, B, C) already login NAV on Window Client.

From my mobile I create SO (using an App). But I can't create SO because limit concurrent user. I configure user D as integrate User between NAV and Mobile. I mean I will use User D as Web Service User (Client Type is Web Service)

My question:   IS Web Service User counted as concurrent User? There are any solution to Web Service user not be counted as Concurrent User.

AFAIK the user D will be counted as user, I don't think there is way around this unless you plan to use A, B Or C for the service.

    Dear Nam Hoang Nguyá»…n ,

direct answer to your question is :

IS Web Service User counted as concurrent User? : Yes

there are any solution to Web Service user not be counted as Concurrent User?: No

what ever the your services you using to log in to system (windows clint/web client , RDP )

every users counted as concurrent users

if you exceeding your no of Concurrent User that you purchase system won't allow to log another user at the time

anyway : there are 2 licence types

    1. Full User

    2. Limited user (Law cost / limited functions)

you better purchase more licence according to the requirement

Your simple answer seems to be in accordance with an answer posted on MIBUSO. However, this MSDN blog post says that the service user running the NAS must be registered as an NAV user. It even says what error occurs if you don't: "The user [...] that is configured to start the NAS session was not identified as a user that has permissions for Microsoft Dynamics NAV." I am confused (?_?)
