Hi, I would like to know what is the best way currently to add tax in the lines of a Purchase Invoice using the API. I tried specifying "netTaxAmount" (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/api-reference/v2.0/resources/dynamics_purchaseinvoiceline) but that did not do it, and the API also doesn't allow me to specify the Tax Area Code.
Hello,
I assume you need to create a custom API.
Hope it helps.
hi
this is method standard
learn.microsoft.com/.../dynamics_purchaseinvoiceline_create
but you could develop a custom API
check my answer if it helped you, thanks

Hi Marco,
I figured out an alternative way to do it using Power Automate. It works by interacting with the API workflowEndpoints. But I was wondering if I can just call this API directly somehow so it can be achieved without Power Automate?
