I just added CustRef field to the SalesParmTable table. It is just a simple text field. The data entered by the user is not saved.
What could be the problem?
Any help is most appreciated.

Still same result with execute business operations in CIL switched off.
Hi,
Did you do an inc. CIL after the code changes? If not, try it or switch off execute business operations in CIL.
It will take just 3 minutes to try the same scenario on any R3 environment.
You will be sure I made no mistake adding my new field.
I just tried it once more on another environment and I got the same weird result.
It is not unbound field and it is a simple task.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused so far.
Are you sure your form field is tied to the data source and a field in it? Maybe you accidentally created an unbounded field, which of course would not be saved anywhere.
Now, I pressed Ctrl+S instead of F5 and I got the same result. No value saved for my customized field!
F5 reloads the record, undoing any unsaved changes that you have made. So it's working as expected.
Try to click ctrl-S if you want to save the record with your newly entered value. But neither f5 or ctrl-S are normally expected from the user on this form.
1. I select open sales order from the sales order field lookup.
2. I input a value on my mandatory customized field.
3. I press F5 and the record is saved normally but without the value I entered in my customized field.
Cleared in what scenario? Could you share exact steps what you are doing and when it's cleared.
The field is cleared on the form and empty on the table although it is a mandatory.
How do you check that it is not saved?
