Hi,
I want to calculate sales tax on the whole amount not on the discounted amount. Is it possible in AX 2012.
Let me explain I have a item with 100 RS and discount on this item is 10 RS now net amount is 90 RS Sales tax will be calculate on 90 RS.
But we need to calculate on 100 RS before Discount amount is it possible in ax 2012, if not please guide me how to customization this requirement.

If you open your sales tax code then you will find a tab denominated 'calculation'.
In the origin field there is a value selected.
Can you try setting this value to Percentage of gross amount?

I have tried with this parameters setting.
Hi Abdul,
I double checked the settings in my machine and did some additional tests.
Things don't seem to work as you want to have it to work.
Would it be an option to manually overwrite the calculated sales tax or do you need this kind of calculation multiple times?
